The Desk Setup That Actually Saves Your Neck

Why necks flare at 4pm
Most neck pain we see is not a mysterious cervical lesion. It is eight hours of a laptop below eye line, AC on the upper traps, and no reason to stand until the commute home.
The 4-point desk standard
Set the top third of the monitor at eye level. If you work on a laptop, buy a stand and a real keyboard. Your neck is not a cheap hinge.
Movement snacks
Every 30 minutes, stand and turn the head slowly as if checking traffic. That is more useful than a 20-minute stretch video you will never repeat.
When to book
Book an assessment if headaches start from the base of the skull, or if pain wakes you at night. Those are not ‘just posture’ problems.
